About

Hello! I’m Chris Kerr, a graphic designer, I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design with a concentration in Graphic Design and Advertising.

I have experience in branding, editorial design, and advertising. I’m a hard-working designer, ready to take on any task and dedicate to the work I design. When designing I apply my skills and design techniques to make the concepts and designs the best. I’m always looking for new opportunities and different ways to grow as a designer.

Since graduating I’ve been working at Minuteman Press as a Lead Graphic Designer and Production Assistant. I led projects ranging from branding for start up companies to local magazines. Working closely with the production team I gained a better understanding of the process from design to print.

My summer during college I interned at The Anderson Group an advertising agency, where I had the opportunity to work on print ads, social media ads, and assisted with the re-branding of the company. As well as participating in client meetings and meeting with the creative team to create and develop concepts and design.

During college I worked as the Graphic Designer of the Kutztown University Connections Orientation Program. Working closely with the leadership team I designed the freshman invitation, postcards, agenda, and the new student guidebook. Through this position I have gained the knowledge of preparing files for print, and proofing prints.

Also, during college I participated in Kutztown University’s Designathon, a 24-hour design marathon event working with fellow students to design for local non-profits. I plan to apply my skills and knowledge, to a design career in the near future.
